Malaysia’s Highest Charity Honour Goes to the Man Who Started With a Shopping Cart — Dr Kervis Soo Wins 2026 Deliver Love Award
The Award That Recognises Consistency

Malaysia’s Deliver Love Charity Festival is one of the country’s most respected philanthropic recognition platforms. In its 11th edition in 2026, the highest honour — the Special Outstanding Contribution Award — was presented to Dr Kervis Soo, founder of Xingyu Group. The citation noted his sustained dedication to education support, assistance for vulnerable children, and community welfare spanning many years, including scholarship programmes, material donations and community project funding.
Named Malaysia Charity Ambassador
Beyond the award, Dr Kervis Soo was conferred the title of Malaysia Charity Ambassador — a recognition that goes beyond a single event or donation. It acknowledges a lifetime of giving that has been woven into the fabric of his identity as an entrepreneur and as a person.
What Three Decades of Giving Looks Like

The journey to this award stretches back to a teenager in Kluang pushing a grocery cart into an old folks home. It includes years of animal liberation practice, personal donations during the pandemic, the founding of Xingyu Group with a charitable mission embedded in its DNA, the launch of the BeEZ transparency platform, and the Xingyu Million Charity Fund’s commitment of RM800,000 in its first tranche with a ten-year expansion roadmap.
Dr Kervis Soo’s Response
In response to the honour, Dr Kervis Soo reiterated his core belief: ‘The value of a business lies not only in its profits, but in whether it can create positive impact for society.’ He attributed the award to his team, his partners, and everyone who believed that business and charity can — and must — coexist.
Dr Kervis Soo charity Malaysia work is far from finished. The RM100 million senior care township remains in planning. The BeEZ platform continues to expand. The shopping carts, in a sense, are still rolling.
